Dirty Birds

December 1, 2007

Painting, Found Object

The good people at Lower Haters Headquarters curated a skateboard show just in time for the holidays. They supplied each artist with a blank skateboard deck with the suggested theme of dirty birds.  I decided to revisit one of my favorite characters, Nerd Bird for this appropriate theme. There was a definite interactive quality around my piece that required the viewer to inspect the board closely. Here are a few images of the board I created for the show. The last photo was taken by my currently bearded friend Michael Eades.

City Willl Swallow You Whole

Illustration, Sketch

Well, this series of drawings ended up being used in a series of pieces that   I made for a collaboration show with Kelly Tunstall. I ended up really liking the sketches so that's why I've gone and made a gallery of them for you to look at.

Fecal Face's 7.5 Anniversary Show

July 31, 2007

Painting, Canvas

I was asked to particpate in fecalface.com's annual show at 111 Minna.  I have a sincere love for bicycles and in the city of San Francisco it helps to have a few of them to get around. Anyhow, I decided to paint a few of my favorite people riding around on their bicycles.
