Dirty Birds

Painting, Found ObjectThe good people at Lower Haters Headquarters curated a skateboard show just in time for the holidays. They supplied each artist with a blank skateboard deck with the suggested theme of dirty birds. I decided to revisit one of my favorite characters, Nerd Bird for this appropriate theme. There was a definite interactive quality around my piece that required the viewer to inspect the board closely. Here are a few images of the board I created for the show. The last photo was taken by my currently bearded friend Michael Eades.

Painting, CanvasI was asked to particpate in fecalface.com's annual show at 111 Minna. I have a sincere love for bicycles and in the city of San Francisco it helps to have a few of them to get around. Anyhow, I decided to paint a few of my favorite people riding around on their bicycles.
